-OUR STORY-

Silvio Varano, Backlender’s owner, grew up admiring his mother’s work ethic. His mother, a cleaner herself, developed strong relationships with her clients. They held a high level of loyalty towards her, and there was a significant amount of trust from both the client and herself. Silvio recognized this, and it inspired him to create his own cleaning company based off of the same values his mother exemplifies. And thus, Backlender Cleaning Service was formed in 2017.

How does Backlender work?

Schedule a cleaning with our step-by-step booking system or give us a call.
  1. Pick a day or days that best fit you.
  2. We will then send you a notification on our trusted cleaner
  3. We'll take payments electronically via square invoice or pay on site with cash. Whatever works best for you.
  4. On the big day, we will arrive ready to get the job done.
That's it. We'll see you soon.

Does someone need to be present?

Whether or not you're present during your booking is up to you, but we do recommend someone to be present on the first clean just to give us a tour. After that if you have a doorman or can hide a key somewhere there is no need for you to be home.

Or, feel free to stick around for the booking and get to meet your own cleaner. Whatever you're most comfortable with is fine. In any case please don't forget about your appointment. We'll remind you via email or text message, but if the cleaner can't get in the door by following your entry instructions, or if no one is home when you said there would be, you'll be charged a third of the booking.

How do I reschedule or cancel?


You can reschedule or cancel by contacting us 24 hours before your booking start time. Within 24 hours a $15 fee will be charged.


Is backlender insured and bonded?


Yes, Backlender is insured and bonded. We understand that it is a privilege to be in your home, and we are always careful. In the unlikely event that an object is damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of when the appointment is completed either by email (contact@backlender.com) or by phone (862-899-0722).
